<p>Le Laboratoire Hospitalier Universitaire de Bruxelles (LHUB-ULB) est le laboratoire commun et acteur de référence en biologie clinique au sein du réseau hospitalier Ville de Bruxelles/Université libre de Bruxelles. Si la genèse de ce projet remonte à longtemps, c’est en octobre 2015 que s’est concrétisée la création de ce laboratoire unique, universitaire et multi-sites.</p><p>Notre caractère unique, intégré et transversal s’exprime dans une consolidation géographique, l’harmonisation de nos pratiques, le partage des plateformes techniques et de services médicaux et de supports transversaux. <p>Les activités du service d’hématologie du LHUB-ULB s’étendent de la routine hématologique jusqu’à la mise au point et au suivi des pathologies spécifiques de l’hématologie&nbsp;:</p> <ul> <li>onco-hématologie</li> <li>diathèses hémorragiques</li> <li>thrombophilie</li> <li>anomalie de fonctionnement des neutrophiles</li> </ul> <p>Une équipe multidisciplinaire participe de la sorte au suivi hématologique au sens large des patients qui nous sont adressés. Le service est constitué de <a href="#">3 cliniques et unités médicales</a>, et déploie ses activités sur chacun de nos quatre centres d’activité.</p> <p>Grâce à la spécificité de nos différents hôpitaux partenaires, le Service d’Hématologie couvre un large éventail de pathologies complexes touchant toutes les tranches de la population. Dans ce cadre, les deux laboratoires ont convenu de travailler conjointement à l’implémentation&nbsp;de&nbsp;nouvelles technologies, l’étude de l’impact&nbsp;clinique&nbsp;de nouveaux&nbsp;outils&nbsp;de diagnostic, l’aide à la surveillance en Santé publique ou le support à&nbsp;l'établissement&nbsp;de plans&nbsp;architecturaux&nbsp;</span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Outre l’amélioration de la qualité du service offert au patient, l’objectif de cette collaboration est aussi de faciliter et poursuivre les collaborations scientifiques et académiques existant depuis plusieurs années entre nos deux laboratoires.
