<p>Par le biais de l'association Vésale, la Loterie Nationale soutient la recherche sur le Covid-19 au CHU Saint-Pierre et au LHUB-ULB. Une équipe de la Loterie Nationale est récemment&nbsp;venue en nos locaux pour réaliser un reportage sur le sujet. <p>Le service de microbiologie du LHUB-ULB est en charge des analyses de laboratoire effectuées lors de la prise en charge préventive, diagnostique et thérapeutique des patients atteints de&nbsp;<strong>maladies infectieuses</strong>. Dans ce cadre, notre mission consiste à rendre des <strong>résultats de qualité</strong> dans un délai de réponse optimisé en promouvant efficience, <strong>technologies de pointe, expertise et multidisciplinarité</strong>, et interactions fortes avec les cliniciens de nos hôpitaux partenaires.</p><p>Le service est constitué de <a href="#">6 cliniques et unités médicales</a>, et déploie ses activités sur chacun de nos 2 centres d’activité.</p><p>Le service exerce également des activités d’expertise dans l’étude et la surveillance de certaines infections en Belgique, et héberge <a href="#">4 centres nationaux de référence</a>.
